Limit of the stratosphere

Project Overview: The Lancia Stratos HF Zero - penned by none other than Marcello Gandini - was a sensation from day one.  Decades later it’s still an attention grabber.  Originally called “Stratolimite” (“limit of the stratosphere”) by Nuccio Bertone, the Stratos HF Zero came into being as Bertone’s attempt to create the lowest car possible at just 33 inches tall.  The Lancia Stratos HF Zero is a full working concept car, powered by a V4 engine out of a Fulvia 1.6 HF.

The work below is a conceptual personal project, taking the design aesthetics of the vehicle and applying them to functionality and flair of the site experience.

I created a competitive analysis concept cars from major auto manufacturers and researched visual designs for the application that would integrate seamlessly with the Lancia brand.   I also built flow diagrams showing intended user paths, wireframes and high fidelity mock ups.
